1. About Cart4Cause & Platform Description

Welcome to Cart4Cause, operated by Cart4Cause LLP (registration in progress), based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Cart4Cause is a cashback platform that allows users to earn cashback when they shop at participating retailers via our platform. We are not a donation or charity platform, nor are we a payment intermediary for donations. The cashback you earn is yours to keep, withdraw, or voluntarily support directly to causes you care about.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Cart4Cause platform, website, or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

3. Eligibility

To use Cart4Cause, you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Account Registration

Users are permitted to create and maintain only one (1) account per person. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account details updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. How Cashback Works

When you click on a retailer link on Cart4Cause and make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays a commission to our affiliate partner, who then pays Cart4Cause. A portion of this commission is passed on to you as cashback and credited to your Cart4Cause wallet.

Please note: Cashback is strictly subject to the retailer confirming your purchase and paying the applicable commission to our affiliate network. Cart4Cause does not guarantee any cashback until it has been successfully tracked, confirmed, and paid by the retailer.

6. Wallet & Withdrawals

Cashback in your wallet becomes "PAYABLE" only after the return period expires and the retailer releases the commission. You may request a withdrawal of payable cashback to your personal bank account or UPI ID. The minimum withdrawal amount is ₹10. Please allow 7-10 business days for withdrawal requests to be processed.

7. Cashback Expiry

Cashback amounts that reach "PAYABLE" status must be withdrawn or utilized within two (2) years from the date they became payable. If unused or unwithdrawn after this 2-year period, the cashback will automatically expire and be forfeited. Cart4Cause will attempt to notify you before any cashback expires.

8. Voluntary Donations to Causes

Cart4Cause does not automatically deduct or supported any of your earnings. You may choose, at your sole discretion, to use the funds withdrawn to your bank account to make voluntary donations to listed Causes. Such donations are processed directly through the respective Cause's payment gateway. Cart4Cause acts neither as a collection agent nor a payment intermediary for these donations and shall not be held liable for how any Cause utilizes the supported funds.

9. Cause Listings

Causes listed on our platform are reviewed by our administration team prior to listing; however, Cart4Cause makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the legitimacy, effectiveness, or operations of any listed Cause. Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before choosing to support any Cause.

10. Affiliate Tracking Limitations

Our ability to attribute a purchase to your account relies on affiliate tracking technology (cookies). Tracking may fail due to various reasons, including but not limited to:

• The use of ad blockers or strict privacy settings in your browser.
• Clearing cookies during the shopping process.
• Returning or canceling the purchased items.
• The retailer failing to report the transaction or pay the commission to our affiliate network.

Cart4Cause is not responsible for untracked or unconfirmed purchases and cannot issue cashback if the affiliate network does not acknowledge the transaction.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any fraudulent or abusive behavior on the platform, including but not limited to:

• Creating multiple accounts.
• Generating fake, artificial, or bot-driven transactions.
• Attempting to manipulate, circumvent, or exploit the affiliate tracking systems.
• Violating any applicable Indian laws or the terms of participating retailers.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all pending or payable cashback.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and software on the Cart4Cause platform are the intellectual property of Cart4Cause LLP or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Cart4Cause platform and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability of the platform, the accuracy of retailer offers, or the guaranteed receipt of any specific cashback amounts.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cart4Cause LLP's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to your use of the platform shall be strictly capped at the total amount of cashback successfully earned and credited to your account in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cart4Cause LLP, its partners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we suspect you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if your account has been inactive for an extended period.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice for any material changes by posting an announcement on the platform or sending an email notification.

18. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
