How Cart4Cause Works

Create your free account. Click "Shop Now" on any of our partnered stores and complete your purchase as normal.

Earn Real Cashback

The retailer pays us an affiliate commission for bringing them a sale. We pass that money directly to your Cart4Cause wallet as real cashback.

Withdraw and Support

Once the cashback is paid, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account, and choose to support it to a verified cause if you wish.

💰 Where the Money Comes From

Cart4Cause partners with hundreds of online retailers through an affiliate network. When you shop through our links:

  1. The retailer pays us a commission (typically 1-10% of your purchase, depending on the store).
  2. We allocate a massive portion of that commission straight into your wallet as Cashback.
  3. You pay nothing extra. The retailer pays the commission, not you.

Example: You buy ₹1,000 worth of items from a partnered store. The store pays us a commission, and we credit the specified cashback directly to your Cart4Cause wallet.

📊 Understanding Transaction Statuses

After you shop, your purchase goes through several stages:

PENDING

Pending

Your purchase was tracked, but the retailer is waiting for the return window to close or the payout is still processing. This can take 30-90 days.

VALIDATED

Validated

The retailer confirmed your purchase. Commission is being processed.

PAID

Paid / Approved

The money has been successfully deposited into your Cart4Cause wallet. You can now withdraw it to your bank account and use it to fund causes.

REJECTED

Rejected / Cancelled

The order was cancelled, returned, or denied by the retailer. No commission was paid, so no donation is generated.

⚠️ Important Things to Know

  • Tracking is not guaranteed. We use cookies to track purchases. If you use ad blockers, other cashback extensions, or don't click directly from our site to the retailer, tracking may fail.
  • Retailers control commission. We don't control whether a retailer reports your purchase or pays commission. If they don't, we can't generate a donation.
  • No liability for retailer issues. Your purchase is a contract between you and the retailer. Cart4Cause is not responsible for product quality, delivery, returns, or customer service.
  • Donations take time. Most donations move from "Pending" to "Paid" within 60-90 days, depending on the retailer's payment cycle.
  • We're not a registered charity. Cart4Cause is a cashback platform. We are not a registered non-profit. When you choose to support your cashback, you are supporting the causes directly.

🔍 Missing Cashback?

If you shopped through Cart4Cause but don't see your purchase tracked within 48 hours, you can submit a Missing Transaction Claim:

  1. Go to your Account tab in the app (or Dashboard on the website).
  2. Tap "Report Missing Cashback".
  3. Provide your order details (order ID, date, amount, store).
  4. We'll investigate with the retailer and update you within 7-14 days.

Note: Not all missing claims can be recovered. If the retailer has no record of the click or denies the commission, we cannot force them to pay.
